Main Office – Scarborough, ME
Megan’s career training began in New England after graduating magna cum laude from Boston College in 2000. From there she went to the West Coast to receive her nursing degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2003. She was subsequently hired as a nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UCSF, providing expert nursing care for some of the most critically ill children in the Northwestern United States. In her final year at UCSF, Megan served on the Pediatric Critical Care Resource Team while completing her Masters of Science as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2007. Returning to the New England soon thereafter, Megan was employed at Children’s Hospital, Boston in the Division of Cardiology, working primarily with children suffering from disorders of cardiac rhythm.
In May 2012, we were fortunate enough to recruit Megan away from the big city to join the Congenital Heart team. She has been a wonderful addition to the group caring for both inpatients at Maine Medical Center and outpatients in our Scarborough office.
